Admissions Committee wants my 3rd SAT score and semester grades?

I applied to University of Pittsburgh and I was told by the admissions office today that they will make their decision after the Dec. SAT and semester grades. Are they expecting a huge increase in SAT score and GPA? Any tips? Super nervous... UPitt is my top school. Applying for marketing major by the way.

Stats:
SAT: 1830: math- 620 / cr- 550 / writing- 660
GPA: 3.6 (weighted- school does not send unweighted)

Was this told specifically to you or a large group of you who have put in your applications?

@SouthernHope specifically to me

Does Pitt have rolling admissions? Overall, this sounds like good news. They are looking for a reason to accept you but probably are hoping for a slight bump in your CR score. I suspect if you get CR in the low 600s and keep your grades the same, you will be in. If they did not want you, would have simply rejected your application.

Hopefully i can get my cr to 600+…

Work on vocab- that is an “easy” way of raising an cr score. I know there is an app for it for the cr section of the SAT. Good luck. Like muckdogs reported; if they wanted to reject you they would have done so.
