@fanpple I know that I was accepted into the Storrs campus because I called yesterday and they told me I was accepted
@fanpple i have no emails and have above average stats and legacy but you never know
Don’t think the emails mean much honestly
I have a 3.75 gpa and a 1930 SAT but absolutely nothing has changed on my portal since my application was completed…should I be worried yet!!!
I have a 3.9 and a 2170. Nothing has changed for me either. I think this week will be the turning point. Hopefully.
I’m pretty sure all that’s been accepted so far are the arts programs
I think knowing that they are “potentially sending out results today” is almost worse! I keep logging in to my son’s portal and nothing has changed in one week.
Thanks for login instructions! I got onto my son’s account and there were 6 emails. 2 Uconn Daily Digest, 2 for Stamford campus (he only applied to Storrs) and 2 misc google emails. Hoping today we might hear!
Praying it comes today I can’t wait any longer
Got into my son’s account (thanks for instructions) and nothing there except generic google stuff. He’s been very successful so far with college admissions; we still have 4 more to hear from so UConn is by no means the slowest. Betting we hear tonight.
My son has received daily digests only…here’s a thought though, does everyone have the housing application link? It is active and by the looks of it he can submit now for housing…
Won’t let me log on after your instructions…wondering what that could mean
@Krish400158 I think you’re on the wrong thread, Harvard starts with an H buddy.
Jonathan from New York: “Hello, my name is Jonathan from New York. I was wondering if I could get into any college in the entire universe with these shitty grades and these terrible credentials. Will someone please help me!? Here goes: 5.0 GPA (on 4.0 scale); 1600 SATs; participated in every club in my high school; Started 12 new clubs/became Club President of each respective one; was Valedictorian of my class; participated in Community Service; Volunteered all over the place; Held jobs at 8 different workplaces; Wrote an amazing College Application essay; Teachers wrote excellent recommendations about me/sent those to the colleges; participated as Captain of every available high school sport team; played 4 different instruments/played in Jazz Band/Orchestra/Marching Band/Symphony Band/Choir… Oh yeah, and my high school is ranked #1 in the entire country… WHAT ARE MY CHANCES PEOPLE??? HELP ME!! I’m just so worried, and I probably won’t even get into the nearby Community College!! HEEEEEELLLPPPP!!!”
@leyland, same for my son; nothing but generic emails.
the ResLife site says applications for housing are available now for Fall 2015… My sons ID is active, it s says Welcome etc, etc. can someone else try this and let me know if they have the same
My D does not have a housing link or a link to pay the deposit but she has the other things (uconn email, scholarship accept link, Financial aid link).
Will be happy when this whole process is done!
I tried the resident life site and it says my student is not eligible to apply for housing. And then there was a note over to the side that says Newly accepted students can access housing application 72 hours after deposit has been paid. So, that was a dead end for us…
On the student page click on pay room reservation fee… This is a generic page, click on menu, that is where you find the apply for housing link
I hope I am not getting overly excited, it even lets him fill out the roommate selection questionnaire. Stores is the only campus with housing, right?
