@pop424 Just call and ask if they have decided on her scholarships. If there is a letter in there they will tell you what it says. They told me my son’s letter was sent last Friday, but he hasn’t received it yet.
Illinois
@Boiler1 Thanks. Just curious. Wondering if maybe the mail is taking longer to reach New Jersey.
We are in Missouri
Someone posted a link about the regional administration officers. Can someone post again?.
@buckeyemom17 Thanks. Just curious.
is those applicant who did not apply for scholarship will get their result later than those who apply for?
@oliver17 I understand your concerns. A minimum 3.4 GPA is needed for OSU Engineering school. For some students, this causes an extra year of pre-engineering work. My sense is that most of the top 20 public universities are similar in academics alone. The differences start with other factors like city vs. college town, weather, etc. One factor that’s often overlooked is how well a school is funded. OSU is well funded. The value of a degree is linked to the how well a public University can sustain and grow. Also, a more comprehensive Graduate and Professional school profile helps. For example, OSU has a law, medical, vet, pharmacy, nursing, dental school. You name it, they have one. That adds to research collaboration that leaves a national and global footprint. However, it would be wise to consider the total cost of 4 years or 5 years at any school…
I did it! Called admissions and found out my D received the NBS! Yay. Great bday gift for me! Lol. No Trustee, but this is fine. Thanks to all on the suggestion to call. They said the letter went out last Friday! Crazy to think that we still haven’t received it.
Will there be a wave tomorrow?
^^
@lovethearts1 Congrats!! Same situation as us! Wonder if we will get the letter today. Will be nice to have the official letter in hand!
@lovethearts1 …We received the NBS letter today…mail must just be slow over here in DE! So grateful…congrats to your D!!
We are in NJ and got our Buckeye letter today! I also called this morning and they said it was mailed on Saturday. Congrats to all - so far, this is the best value and a great school - my S was accepted as a DA to Fisher College of Business.
@drjdillon Yes! So excited. Agreed that it will be nice to have the letter in hand too.
Inspired by you all, I did call admissions - they were very sweet and told me my D did receive the National Buckeye and Trustee Scholarships. The letter went out Saturday they said. I just checked the mail and it is here! (We’re in IL) Congrats to all…this process was much more stressful than I imagined. She has many Big10 options, but I agree this is a good value for an excellent school… and she’s loved it from the moment we visited campus! I think this will seal the deal for my future Buckeye!
@pop424 @drjdillon The official letter arrived now too! Congrats to everyone who has heard and good luck to everyone who has not heard! Hope everyone has a great weekend. By the way, for those of you who are still waiting for an acceptance, they said that not all of the acceptances have gone out yet. This is also why the scholars program has not been set yet either.
@trackmbe3 can you please provide the regional administration officers contact list if you have or provide the website link? Thanks a lot!
