I did too! To the scholars too! Haha :)

How do i know if i was scholars/admitted into my major?

How do i know if i was scholars/admitted into my major? my letter says:
"Congratulations! I am pleased to offer you admission to the University of Maryland for the Fall 2013 semester. You were selected from a highly talented group of applicants. During our review, we were impressed with your academic achievements, talents and experiences. Your performance and commitments are of exceptional quality and you should take great pride in all you have accomplished.

At the University of Maryland, you will join a community of scholars and leaders—students, faculty, and alumni whose successes in the state and around the globe have had profound effects on our world. We are confident you will contribute to the legacy of innovation and leadership that has defined Maryland as a premier research institution, renowned for its academic reputation. Our small, distinctive learning communities with the enrichment experiences in and out of the classroom provide an environment of intellectual challenge and exploration. The university’s proximity to the nation’s capital offers an unbeatable location for participation in internships, research, government events, cultural programs and entrance into the global marketplace. "

Admitted Honors College/Computer Engineering

Same! To Honors! :D

what does ur letter say?

@muzicmaker It would say in that same opening paragraph about College Park Scholars or Honors College if you were in that too. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the letter, it will also say your major and advising college.

So if you’re admitted into the Honors College it’s not an automatic for CP Scholars or vice versa? Because my letter doesn’t say anything about CP Scholars.

At the bottom of the letter, it will list your major, advising college. Opening sentence: Congratulations! I am pleased to offer you admissions to the Univ. of Maryland and the Honors College for Fall 2013.

Muzicmaker- it says it all the way at the bottom. It says: “Please find your Academic Major and Residency Classification below.” And then underneath it lists your major and advising college

Thanks gents

@FastNeutrino Honors is more difficult to get into than CP Scholars, so it’s one or the other. Congrats to you! That’s awesome!!

Got into honors and biological sciences!! So happy!

I got in too! and scholars!

how is everyone finding out? The website won’t load for me :(

ahhh I can’t get on to the website!!!

what did the scholars acceptance letter say

Omg! Son is accepted to Smith! So excited!!

Thanks for posting. We got a decision for my D, too - accepted, in Honors and direct admit to Biology. Still don’t have an e-mail from MD though!

Congrats and/or best of luck, as appropriate.
