I finally got my acceptance letter in the mail today.
Still no letter…
- A week and three days after they sent it
- A week after some else in my town got theirs.
USPS is officially my least favorite government organization. But since I got my email a few days ago, I had my number and committed last night! So excited to be going next fall!
@feartheENGR Awesome! I didn’t get my letter until Saturday, can’t commit yet until I see the financial aid offer, however. By the looks of your name, it seems as though you are going to engineering (as am I). Hope to see you on campus, crossing my fingers that this offer pulls through…
@LittlePavs I wish you the best with the aid. I am planning on engineering, hopefully electrical or aerospace. Actually my friend who got his packet a week ago is also waiting for fin aid before he commits too. That’s one sad thing about Notre Dame: it costs so much to be there. 
@feartheENGR Very true. People on College Confidential (so far) seem to be getting offers near or better than their EFC on FAFSA. If the financial aid offer I get is relatively close (up to 5000 greater), I should be able to make the dream become a reality! And I am going into Aerospace, hope you choose that! 
I got my FA packet a few days after my Admission Letter. The amount they offered was absolutely amazing, and was much higher than my family expected. I’m still waiting on some Ivies, but Notre Dame is starting to look like a probable option for me.
