admissions decisions??

ohh that means we should be getting it on monday

burry –> ■■■■■.

Accepted (with a small envelope). Financial aid came, too, in a separate envelope.

Why are you calling me a ■■■■■? I live close to DC and get mail from there very quickly.

Burry what school do you go to. I got my letter td and I go to school in d.c: gonzaga

Hi Gonzaga, I sent you a pm.

burry- please pm me your stats!!!

@burry what is you major?

We live in MD. My D got a letter from Gtown. She is out of town until Monday and I am going nuts trying to figure out what it is. It appears to be a letter with a yellow card. I am thinking it is probably a waitlist card. :frowning: But, could it possibly be an acceptance??? Burry, what exactly was in your acceptance envelope?

Hey, my stats are a 94% GPA (unweighted), 34 ACT and I’ll be a Classics/math major.

The envelope just has three sheets of paper, but unfortunately no yellow card. In case people are interested, the letter states there were 18,100 candidates for 1580 available spaces.

8.73% ??
No way

^The EA rate is probably higher, so it’ll raise the overall acceptance rate.

Holy…I’m giving up all hope now.

It’s 1580 available SPACES not 1580 acceptances. They have to accept more people than they have spaces of course

^Eh…that’s not very comforting.
When I get my yellow card, I’ll hang it up on my ceiling so that every time I wake up and open my eyes, it’ll be the first thing I see and I can be reminded of what a failure at life I am.

precisely. georgetown’s yield is far from 100% lol

last year, 3683 applicants were offered admission RD. should be around the same this year, making for around a 20% acceptance rate

Also no letter here in Morris County NJ…Guess it is Monday for us too.

Thank you Stupefy.
:D

Yeah I just looked at it. They accepted about ~3700 total students from 18100 (including EA). And since they accept ~1000 EA and there are 6000 EA applicants, it means about ~2500-2600 accepted from about 12000 RD + ?? Deferred applicants.

I taped my yale deferral letter to the wall above my computer. it’s for motivation and humility ;)
