Deferred OOS
Yo guys they keep releasing info until like. Early tomorrow morning as far as I know. And even if you aren’t chosen today it doesn’t mean anything. Cause they choose at random with no rhyme or reason. Hang in there I know the wait is brutal. I’m still waiting too.
@mk2000 …Don’t lose faith! It just means they will look at you again with the regular decisions… Do youmind sharing your stats (GPA/SAT or ACT) so we know where we all may stand?
I know, it’s just hard. Tbh, out of all of the schools I applied to, U of M and OSU are the only ones that are my “dreams.” I likely won’t get into U of M with my stats (only 30 ACT), and OSU has been a dream of mine since I was young, that’s what we are taught as Buckeyes.
It would be a real bummer if I were to hear a negative decision from OSU, as I have a mentorship down there in the engineering department next semester. Additionally, I have worked with faculty on teaching engineering. I’ve been very close knit with OSU, even though I had no “connections” there. I made them by reaching out.

Mine still says evaluation too. I really don’t want to have to wait to mid January, so they release waves every hour after 3:30? Or was that it for today? 
When does it start today?
I feel really bad, my sister just got her admission decision. My sister thought she got into main campus, and found out it was only for OSU Marion. I feel extremely bad for her. She was so excited and screaming… and then she read that it wasn’t into main campus. Then she felt terrible.
My sister’s friend (also from my school) just found out she didn’t get in. She had a 28 ACT and a 3.8 GPA UW. Holy crap. Admission is really tough for in state students.
My sister said that deferred/rejected applicants apparently hear first, then it’s acceptances.
No email received. Just checked the portal on a whim.

Are there multiple waves tonight or just the one rollout at 330?
So, is the general pattern going to be deferrals, first, and admissions, second, or are they just going defer everyone that gets a decision, today?
if we didn’t find out at 3:30 do we have to wait until January?
@HopefulBuckeye I keep seeing the Bridges program. Not sure what that is. D didn’t do it. She got into 14/14 schools prior to being deferred at OSU today. Her app is really strong but her ACT/GPA are on the bottom edge of the middle 50% at Miami. She will be pretty distraught as Miami is her first choice by far. I even got her some Miami gear hidden in my closet in case she makes it tonight. She has some Miami hopefuls coming over tonight to check together. Both friends already got into OSU in November. Gonna be a tough night if bad news. Sorry to take over the OSU thread with Miami stuff. Good luck. Let me know at 12:01. Your D has much more solid numbers. I’d say you’re good for Miami. @Topwop My D also awaiting Miami this evening. OSU still currently under Evaluation. Weighted Gpa 4.2, UW 3.9, only 26 ACT. In state, rank 25 of 354
