Yes, around an hour ago. My school counselor always told me Ohio State was a stretch, and I guess she was right. It seems you can really never predict who gets in and who doesn’t these days. It’s just a lottery.

EDIT: Ohio Northern and Case Western have awesome Pharmacy programs! Look there!
OSU is like the equivalent of U of M with in-state brutal admissions. I’m getting worried.

@db8addict if you applied on 11/28, you are apart of the RD round, not EA. They’re only admitting EA decisions right now.
11/1 was the deadline for EA.

All of these OOS kids getting accepted into my major. ): I know that OSU doesn’t consider major you’re applying to, but they do want diversity, and if there’s a bunch of kids with spikes in tech, well they won’t want too many of them. ):

Is there a quota for each major? Like all these deferrals worry me immensely. I don’t think many people intend on majoring in physics, yet this still has me on edge… ?
@MamaBearz99 OSU is my dad’s alma mater. 
@XzarPak, I don’t think so. But I do know they won’t want 2,000 CS majors. There’s no diversity there. I’m hoping my double minority status in engineering/CS will help me.
Quick question. I applied before the Nov. 1st deadline, but how do I know I am early action on the status page?
@aali165 OSU should have sent you an email a while ago confirming you application has been submitted. I don’t think it shows EA on the portal. Just that you submitted.
I know this has been answered but I will ask again for clarity, when do merit based scholarships come out? And are they need based or does Ohio state give separate money for need based?
