<p>I was gonna apply to a private college that required an essay. But on the website, they gave us ideas on what they would like our essays to be about, and gave us topics to choose from.
I decided though that I'm not going to apply to that college because it is very expensive. So now I'm applying to Temple University, and an essay is required for when you apply. But it doesn't say what you can write about/should write about. They don't give you any ideas.
So what does a person write in a college application essay? What would be some topics or ideas?</p>
