Howdy!

I'll be sending in my applications for admissions to several M.P.A. programs across the country. However, I am worried that since I have no professional work experience my chances for admission will be greatly diminished. Will this in fact greatly diminish my chances for admission? Even if I have internship and part-time work experience...?

Also, does anyone know the admissions statistics for M.P.A. programs at these schools?

The University of Georgia at Athens
The Ohio State University
The University of Texas at Austin
The Florida State University
The University of Oregon

I feel like I should have a decent chance of admission (minus the professional experience part). These are great schools for MPA but I have a 3.48 in Political Science at Texas A&M University. Also, I participated in a two-year internship, led extracurricular activities, and have been working the whole time I was in college (at a law firm). I'll be taking the GRE in a few weeks and I should do pretty well.

What more do these admission officers want?? This is so frustrating and never-racking to think about!!!!
