EDIT: i have a serious upward trend in my high school transcript (low grades(B) to all A's , minimal honors --> all honors/AP)

Chances at :

Harvard
Cornell
Johns Hopkins University
Columbia
UChicago
UVa
Stanford(maybe...thinkin about it)

Edit:

Caltech

thanks...truly appreciated

bump please post

You'll have a good chance at all your schools.

JHU, Cornell, UChicago are easier admissions wise than the rest of your list, btw.

I don't think South Amreican counts as hispanic. Regardless, you are not a URM du jour: low income, inner city, first generation, so I don't know that you'll get much of a booast as someone from a good public attending pricy summer programs. They will expect the 2250.

bumpidity bump bump?

Yes they do, except Brazilians.

Because the question keeps coming up here, I asked a college counselor at a top boarding school with Many South Americans. She said no URM tip.
