My question is concerning whether or not I need to involve myself in state-wide activities in order to better my chances for admission. I would personally love to, but being a state officer for key club would require a great of traveling with i could not do during marching season. Here are my credentials. Thank you:)

SAT: will be over 2200 by time i apply (recently took)
Will have taken 10 AP classes; am taking physics through a self study

Activities: Drum Major of Band, All Region Flautist, State Wide Guild in Piano, Sciencebowl (second in region), quizbowl (varsity potential this year), astronomy club (treasurer), NHS, mu alpha theta, student council (public relations committee that is coordinating our schools new video announcements), Robotics, KMO (team top in nation); junior representative of Key Club; news editor of award winning newspaper

Won numerous awards in science fairs, through school, academics, etc.

Outside of school I volunteer at my local hospital and am starting a community service program about reading in elementary schools

I plan to spend this summer at a Neuroscience class and another volunteer program at the hospital.

At end of this year, I plan to be an officer of several more of the clubs, and plan to organize more events within my community. Is this enough for a college like WashU?
