Admissions Material Tracking - "Decision Letter Copy"

Hi,

May I know what does

20-feb-2008 Decision Letter Copy
06-feb-2008 Folder Pulled committee read

on the "Where am I in the Process" mean? It seems that they have reached a decision on my application?

Probably, mine only says "Folder Pulled Committee Read and General Correspondence"

Good luck.

I got that too, with the same date. I was thinking because that's around the time other schools got mid-terms grades that it could have been a mistake and meant they received the grades, but I dunno what it really means.

i love how detailed they are with their status check haha. at the same time, it's kinda scary knowing that they've already had a "general correspondence"

Unlikely they would receive any mid-term grades from me since my school year, which starts in January and ends in November (in Singapore) has already ended =p.

Because of the detailed status check page, my daughter noticed that someone else's SAT scores were erroneously posted on her page (she only took the ACT). She sent them two emails over the past few weeks, finally received a response that they would take care of it, but the scores still remain on her page more than a week after their response.

i can't understand what the following means - did someone else get it too?

27-feb-2008 Admission Score Report Form

28-jan-2008 Application Complete

whats an admission score report?

My most recent is "General Correspondence"

I didn't get any "Score sheet" thing. Funny, maybe it's different for each major...

27-feb-2008 Admission Score Report Form

My guess is that the school scores applicants using internal scoring system, and a report is generated on them.

I have the most confusing thing

26-feb-2008

There are no words describing it. Anyone have an idea what this means?

I have the same thing ^

I think Carnegie Mellon pulled my ACT scores. I didn't sent them, but on the "Where am I in the Process?" website they list receiving them on FEB 22. Can they do that?

mc588: They shouldn't be able to access your ACT scores if you(or someone with access to your account) didn't send them. If no one sent them, contact CMU immediately to resolve the issue.

MC588, it's most likely somebody else's ACT Scores are recorded as yours. You should contact CMU as mikesown suggested. I remember reading about someone on this board having someone else's SAT scores.

Also, they seem to say that they have 3 letters of recommendation from me (teachers), even when I only sent 2...

They are my ACT scores. I just didn't send them. Maybe my school attached them to my transcript, since they get CC'd for all standardized tests.

If they are your ACT scores, they might have gotten them from your transcript. If you have three teacher recommendations and you only sent two, one of them might be someone else's. Anyway, you should contact the school to let them know. There might be a very small chance you got the same ACT scores as someone else, though I doubt that.

That status page is a bit slow to update. My daughter's page was updated with "Mid Year Transcripts Received". The date shown is 2/22/08 but as of yesterday that entry wasn't there. So expect delays in the information being posted.

apparently.. they have received 9 teacher recommendations from me... i believe i sent in 2 only...

lol whoa..
