<p>On my RIS there is an admissions bar that says "effective after fall 2011 registration, lacking final college transcript".</p>
<p>I went to the alamo colleges and their transcript system is completely screwed up right now. I just recently requested my final official transcript be sent, but its highly likely its not going to be there by Friday when I'm supposed to register.</p>
<p>Also, on the admissions website it says updated transcripts must be received no later than june 15th.</p>
<p>The part about the bar being effective after registration for fall 2011 is confusing me as well.</p>
<p>So has anyone dealt with this? What's the worst that can happen here?</p>
<p>What I did when I was in high school was get my transcript physically from my school’s registrar and hand delivered it to the UT office. I was like look chick, here’s my transcript now update the system. And she did it right then and there for me. </p>
<p>You just have to call the office and let them know you need the bar cleared NOW. lol</p>
<p>Yea, that’s what I would do, but the alamo colleges has made a ridiculous decision to not allow students to physically pick up their transcripts. It HAS to be processed through an online system and sent from a “back office”. I’m going to call this back office tomorrow, and since I know where their physical location is I’m going to see if I can stop by and pick it up considering the urgency of the situation.</p>
<p>I’m just concerned mainly because I didn’t get the final transcript in by the date the admissions office said it had to be in and the CC may not be willing to let me physically pick up a transcript.</p>
<p>alamo colleges? wait wait wait. are you in san antonio then? i did some ah what was it called… dual credit classes in high school connected to nw vista and those jerks never mailed my transcripts to ut. NEVER. even after i requested them twice. no, you will have to hound them. i gave up and its not something i really needed, but you do since you’re straight up transferring from there. yeah. don’t stop until its done! </p>
