I'm a transfer student. I went to my Registration Information Sheet and it said that I had a registration bar on my account. The exact words are the following:

"Admissions Office - effective after Fall 2009 registration
Lacking final high school transcript"

I know I sent in my official transcript because they needed it to accept me. So I have no idea what this means, and I need this bar cleared by Monday so I can register for classes!

Just call UT registrar Monday, and tell them you want to speak with the TSI people. Let them know you have a TSI bar and they will release the bar immediately if your exempt.
same happend to me
good luck

See, it’s weird because I’m already TSI exempt. So I don’t know why else it would say I’m lacking a HS transcript. I’ll just call up Office of Admissions tomorrow morning and see what’s up with that.

yeah if you have a bar and you do think its a problem; try to get it fixed BEFORE registration. i had complications on the morning of registration and i had to make calls and cross the whole world trying to get to the other side of the campus.

also if you have to call say…the financial aid office; they WILL put you on hold and hang up on you. i was furious – they did it to me twice and i finally went in person and gave them hell.
