Admissions Rescind

I'm just wondering what one would do if their admissions is rescinded due to second semester senior grades?

Does anybody know anyone who was put in this position, what ended up happening? What options do such students have?

(Do HYPS have certain policies, like the UCs....)?

Here is a scenario... you are accepted to a number of schools... lets say many UCs and Stanford... you want to go to Stanford... but you are declined admissions from Stanford because your Senior GPA dropped to a 3.0 average from a 4.0 average..... now most of the top UCs have a minimum 3.0 GPA to not have your admissions revoked (including UCLA)... but now you cant go to either =-/

Last year a kid who was accepted to Princeton ED lost his admission because he got careless after he was accepted and his grades fell drastically, I thind he got an F on one of the subject, consequently Princeton revoked his admission and had to go to a state college that has a rolling admission. The is a thread somewhere on CC that talks about UPenn policy, they put you on Accademic Probation, google it you will find it.

I don't think a bunch of B's would be a problem. C's and D's or an F is a problem.
