Admissions revoked?

my 1st and second semester grades are mostly B-'s, and i just got a C+ in gov 3rd mp. Does anyone know if my admissions will be revoked?

you'd probably need around 3 or more C's just to get a letter asking you to explain your grades... don't worry about it.

Went to Campus Days, they told us it was three or more C's.

You'll be fine.

Hey, I hate to be so anal about this... but did they say 3 or more exactly? And who told you? Sorry...

Are we talking 3+ C's in final transcript grades or individual quarter grades?

tank:
On your first question, yes.
As for your second question, it was the dean of admissions.
xaiur:
Final transcript grades after high school graduation.

Unless you have 3 AP classes and none of them is your strong subject, it is pretty hard to get 3 Cs or more.

Maybe this is nitpicky, but....There is no dean of admissions. Did you mean the Director of Admissions, Ted Spencer?

Yeah, that was the one - I went back and looked at my paperwork from Campus Days. My apologies on the title mixup.

No worries--Ted Spencer is about the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I'm sure he wouldn't really care. :)

how about 2 As, 2Bs, and 2Ds ?? I was previously waitlisted and accepted to the university.

Well if you average the 2 B's and 2 D's then thats 4 C's. Yikes.

I got a bunch of Bs and 2 B-'s in AP classes cuz my last quarter we didn't have tests and I was out half the time so my teacher decided to be mean :(

hopefully I'm still good...

how about 2 As, 2Bs, and 2Ds ?? I was previously waitlisted and accepted to the university.

that's wierd...I was waitlisted before and had all A's and one B and was rejected and that's why I'm here at MSU...will the Office of undergrad admissions give me a straight answer as to why I was waitlisted, then rejected? I'm just curious..that's all.

they probably rejected you because you couldn't spell weird.

just kidding. no harm intended.

lol...I've been spelling weird as wierd for years...and I never knew it was wrong! :P I always followed the rule, I before E accept after C...

haha

except before C...not accept...hmm probably another reason you didn't get in.

cut a girl some slack...I was studying for midterms! ;)

excuses excuses sigh
