Admissions statistics do not line up?

Looking for my chances of acceptance into UCSD. It seems to me that the information here http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/campuses/san-diego/freshman-profile/index.html and here http://studentresearch.ucsd.edu/_files/stats-data/admissions/freshmen/hsgrades.pdf do not line up. First says 2014 avg gpa 4.13 and other says 4.08. Same with sat UC website has SAT 1 at 1350 and other here http://studentresearch.ucsd.edu/_files/stats-data/admissions/freshmen/hssat.pdf says 1295. I have searched all around and found nothing about this. There must be an obvious reason that I can’t seem to tell. Thanks

Stats for admitted students are typically higher than those of enrolled students. Even UCSD will be a safety for some.

I would use the common dataset for UCSD which uses the unweighted GPA and gives the SAT score ranges. The data for the common dataset is for enrolled in-coming Freshman and transfers. Again as the other poster pointed out, it could be a difference of applied/admitted and enrolled.

I could not find the common dataset for 2014-2015, but average last year was 4.0 unweighted with 92% at or above a 3.75 GPA.

I agree with post #1 but not about UCSD as a safety. People have choices and preferences so the go elsewhere.
