<p>The general consensus is that if your unofficial transcript loads that you were accepted. Mine just loaded less than an hour ago, BUT I am trying to still keep my hopes down, it’d be horrible to receive a rejection letter after believing that you were accepted.</p>
<p>If you read the earlier posts, people have called in and asked to verify this method, but the UW admissions have kept denying it, but personally, from reading every post in this thread and from people at my school, it definitely seems like if you got it uploaded – > you’re in.</p>

<p>As for order of letters sent/unofficial transcripts loading, it seems pretty random so far. It’s probably not alphabetical and I highly doubt it’s by intended major (I have enough friends who have heard/not heard back that it makes no sense) so at the moment, we can’t do much but speculate.</p>

<p>UW Admissions has said they are still making decisions and letters will be going out through March 31. Letters are arriving every day. Unofficial transcripts are also loading every day. I guess when they said they would be mailing decisions out from March 15 to March 31 they weren’t kidding. Everyone should take a deep breath and chill.</p>

<p>@UWDawgs2011 really? I thought they were already done making decision. And i read somewhere on here today that they’re almost reaching their limit for people that are in-state which worry me very much…</p>
<p>For sure UW Dawgs. Guys, DO NOT give up hope. My hopes went down each and every single time I clicked on my UW unofficial transcript to only see “this page cannot be displayed” about what seemed to be a million times. I’ve heard of at least 20-30 people on FB yesterday who got accepted and more that I don’t know of. It felt terrible seeing everyone get in while my unofficial transcript was not loading, and it finally loaded TODAY. Yes, TODAY. I assume they are loading literally randomly. I knew it was random in the first place, but I didn’t know it was days apart. Don’t lose hope and be patient!</p>
<p>And now… I must wait for my letter. Unfortunately, I am not any more patient now that I’ve seen my transcript load.</p>

<p>Edit: I got my financial aid e-mail less than 30 minutes after my transcript uploaded (if this info helps anyone).</p>

<p>Decision notices seem very random (I know accepted people with last names A, R, D, K, and more) and don’t appear to be based on location, school, name, gpa, sat, or date applied.</p>

Mine is Last Name M, Virak, 2011/4, First-time Freshman, then my Social security. I really wonder is 2011/4 the way they randomize our file?</p>
