Someone posted this in the Facebook UW 2012 group. I've already been accepted, but someone who hasn't been accepted yet should try it. Best of luck!

Mine says 'Congratulations, please confirm if you wish to enroll..blah blah'. I believe it's simply the online method of confirming your intent to go to the university. For newly accepted students, you may have to wait a few days before it loads up.

I think that this link will only show the confirmation page when you status has changed from the a decision has been made to congratulations, but that is just a guess

GOOD LUCK TO ALL !

Edit: I was already admitted so this is just a hypothesis. OH, and I got my purple packet today the 13, after seeing my status change to the decision made and getting the unofficial transcript load on the 6th, so if you are OOS like I am be patient!

ok nvm i found it!! whew! but when i loged on it says Enrollment Confirmation
Unexpected Error
There are no offered applications on record. Please return to the MyUW home page.

but my unofficial transcript didn't load
my application status...says We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made.
what is this purple packet everyone is talking about?
did u guys get into uw- seattle?

Means you need to wait more. Does unofficial transcript give you a blank load ( I think you got rejected) or does it say something like page cannot be found which means you need to wait further.

The "purple packet" contains your official acceptance and enrollment information. My "unofficial transcript" loaded on January 25th, and the beautiful purple envelope arrived three days later.

you need to wait for one more stage, where it says something like - "We have reviewed your application..." then you will be able to load your unofficial transcript.

Does the unofficial transcript really look different depending on whether your application is rejected or still pending? And does the purple envelope only apply to acceptance letters, not wait-listing or rejection letters?

I'm seriously on the edge of my seat waiting for my reply right now. :D

The unofficial transcript does not load at all for pending and rejected applicants. The purple envelope is reserved only for accepted applicants, as there is a 'Congratulations!' on the outside of the envelope. I know for a fact that rejected applicants get a white business sized envelope.

Haha, you could ask me many of these questions because I once asked them myself. Since I was just as curious and paranoid during my wait, I learned a lot.

I got my unofficial transcript to load, Wednesday night, I told like 9999999 people, what are the chances I actually got waitlisted? I've heard it still loads for those waitlisted.

Any input? I am scared its not going to be a purple envelope lol

Same situation as the previous two posters. :/

They couldn't have waitlisted ALL of us, could they? I seriously doubt that many people get waitlisted, and even if they do, I doubt it would be this early. Don't they send out most of their letters from March 15 to April 15?
