Admissions Status Online?

a friend of mine without uw credit classes said he logged into his uw net id for the first time and his student ID under financial aid is NOT 000000… but though he could load up the transcript page, it says that no transcript data exists.

what does this mean?

Go check your financial aid, I know people who said they’ve been denied.

Maybe they’ve just been denied financial aid…???

No, it says “I’m sorry to inform you that you have not been accepted to the University of Washington…” If your ID number is 000000, then it’s still pending. I haven’t heard of anyone getting in.

I’m confused… how do i check if i already have a student id and unofficial transcript?? my financial aid page is stuck on 2010-2011 school year because of my uw in the high school class and idk how to change the year to see 2011-2012…

Hey guys. I live about 20 min away from UW and I called the admissions office yesterday to get an update on letters. They said they sent out ALL letters (not just batches of letters) yesterday the 14th! So, for those of you who live fairly close to Seattle, you should be receiving one today or Wednesday.

If they sent out the letters yesterday, then the unofficial transcripts and our financial aid status are not reflecting that… So maybe this year we will just be surprised by the mail? Today or Wednesday won’t be too bad.

They said that you would get your letter before you found out online. Good luck, everyone!

Think about the internationals… If I will hear about my decision by snail mail, it will take forever.

that is prob the reason for the two week window. I think most of us will hear within thw first week. kinda mad b/c i live on east coast haha

Do they send out the rejection letters the same day as the acceptance letters?

Since there is no reason not to, probably, yes. Of course, there is no way we can know for sure until someone posts about his/her rejection.

Holy ****. My heart started beating really fast when I read this. I’m so nervous!!! I only live 20-30 min away from UW. I could be getting a decision today!!! Holy crap.

Does anyone know if UW uses the “typical” big envelope for yes and small one for no scheme?

I heard last year some or all of the people that got accepted got a thin envelope, and later a big one with all the welcoming stuff. I don’t know for sure though.

Got my letter. Denied. Had a 3.9 and 1980 SAT too. Good essays and Eds too. ■■■

Wow. I am sorry to hear that. I have some questions for you if you don’t mind:

What does your online status say?

Can you see your student ID number on the financial aid status page?

Can you load your unofficial transcript?

OMG I live in California which means I might get it tomorrow … I have family in Kirkland WA and whenever I send anything to them it only take 2 days
