@grigg, definitely know how you feel, and I’m sorry about UW-Madison, but congratulations about Penn State! I’m definitely going to consider UDub if i get in as well, it seems a lot of people from my school apply there each year also… good luck to you also and maybe I’ll be seeing you in the Big Ten (with 12 schools) or Pac 12 next year!

ahhhh are you guys sure it’ll be at 12? because if it doesn’t change at 12, i’ll either cry, or go to sleep and wait for the actual mail to come lol.

i feel less pressure because i just got into ucla a few days ago, but i want to have options especially since ucla will cost me so much as an out of state student… i feel like i screwed up pretty bad on my UW essays because i didn’t take them very seriously, so i’m also a little scared )=

ugh everybody and me is on edge right now while demolishing their refresh button

You guys are ridiculous haha. Just chill; the decision will come when it comes! No use in worrying when you’ll all probably be accepted anyways.

Oh crap I’m having a panic attack

What ICanDivideByZero said.

Seriously. Go do something for 20 minutes, then click refresh. Remember, this year is a bit different in terms of acceptance letter time line, so maybe the unofficial transcript WONT EVEN LOAD AT MIDNIGHT.

=) That being said, good luck =)

with our luck, they won’t even post it… haha

My F5 key just broke

Still nothing.

Did anyones work?!

nope! false alarm. time to go to bed kiddies.

Well it’s midnight and nothing changed. Poo

Nothing ugh

Nothing has changed. BUT just realize, that it’s now the 15th… Meaning that we could get our letters back TOMORROW, or today for some of the lucky people.

btw, i know this is a really dumb question, but will the courses that we took back in middle school be factored into our GPA (Algebra, Honors Geo, Spanish 1&2?) Because if so I think I go below a 3.2 which would not be good.

^no, I don’t believe they factor those in.

@nymets71993 did you list them on your application and include them in your cumulative gpa?

listed them in my application; did not include them in the GPA

i am in state and i go to high school in the area, so a ton of people from my school go to uw, and my counselor is very familiar with their process. she said that in the past they sent out acceptance letters as they decided, so people got their letters throughout march, but then people who knew someone who got a letter but didnt get one themselves freaked out and they or their parents would call uw and complain. she said that uw got tired of this and for the last year or two theyve sent out all acceptances on the same day, march 15th, so that everyone would receive a decision at the same time. are they not doing that this year? because i was under the impression that they were and i was excited to be receiving some sort of information tomorrow as ive been waiting on a bunch of schools for a long time. does anyone know what theyre doing this year?

^read the info on the UW admissions website and past posts in this and other threads.
