sorry, it hit the button too soon. i am interested in what the accepted people's said vs the rejected. so would someone that was accepted post how long between app was submitted vs status posted vs finding out your decision?

You are way over-analyzing things guys. Please try to relax. There is no code or anything cryptic. I realize it's hard but there are only 11 days. The only thing that matters is when they actually post decisions.

Even if they did start releasing some decision early as UGA did, they wouldn't do it without a notice telling you that some decisions had been posted. UNC hasn't done this in the past so I wouldn't expect them to do it this year.

ok, point made and understood. since most of us are still having fun doing it though, does everyone's show that exclamation point below the info? what is that for?

i have a guestion, too. i am new to this but why do they give everyone a personal id number even if they aren't accepted? seems like that would put a lot of unnecessary info on their system? would think that when they receive an app that they would review it and i can even see assigning a pre-lim way of identifying it but to enter it into the system seems a waste of time and resources. i am a very "cut and dry" economist and that is a waste of manpower? unc needs me to help them cut waste!
