Okay, I've taken 2 years of spanish in high school. For senior year I was thinking of taking spanish for a 3rd year, for admission into pomona college because they recommend it. Yet, I would have to drop calculus and I don't really want to do that. If I take spanish at my community collee instead would they still count it ( wouldnt be for credit)?

Admissions at any school would probably like that you took it at a community college, actually. Assuming your high school offers some sort of dual enrollment, it would count toward high school and maybe college credit, depending on the school. And calculus (if it’s AP) is more important to them than a third year Spanish class.
