i heard somewhere that starting next year applicants can apply to two colleges at cornel...is that true

anyone?????

I heard rumors of this too...I really wish I could have done that when applying ED to see if fin aid might have been better for endowed schools for me vs contract.

yea someone yesterday told me that and she seeemed so sure of herself so im thinking its true?

That would be incredible. But then..could you be accepted to both schools? Would applying to two hurt you more than help you? Like, would they be more apt to accept people who only applied to a specific school and no others because it shows more commitment to that area?

I haven't heard anything of this but I suppose I'm not very in the know.

umm the girl said you could get accepted to both and choose...and im not sure about the rest

Who was this girl? How credible is she? Does she like work in the admission or something? Because if she is, then this would be amazing!!!!

U just made me REALLY happy :)

well shes a junior like me that i think visited a bit back...and she sounded like REALLLLY sure of herself so idn

anyone?????

I know for a FACT that this is true. I have heard it from 3 admissions officers. So there.

Oh, and about the whole "will it help you" thing... applying to 2 schools doesn't necessarily up your chances since they're still looking for the same type of applicant. You're either a better fit for one college or another they said. I don't think you'll get into two.

Omg, this has made my day! After a day of AP cramming, I so needed this! So would this apply to ED too?

thats retarded.

Yeah, I think you can do this for ED too.

Oh, and also... I get the feeling that the admissions officers don't like the policy very much though. It is pretty retarded in a sense. haha

Guys, Don't make yourself happy too early. Call Cornell and check it out.

I'm certain they'll tell you the same thing. I JUST visited the university, but I guess if you want to double check..

Yay if this were true, I can apply for CALS (BEE and AEM) and CoE (BEE and/or ChemBmE).

Does anyone else have more information regarding this?
