Has anyone heard anything? I thought that you were supposed to get an email shortly after the audition letting you know whether or not you were a finalist. Is that only if you ARE a finalist?

My daughter got an email two days after her audition letting her know she was a finalist and 2/25/10 she got an email offering her a spot in the 2010 fall MT class. If you did not get an email either way I would recommend that you contact the department to see where you stand.

Wow, sharkgirl, congrats to your daughter!!!

I was wondering if UCF had announced its acceptances yet. I was looking on the big list in the MT forum and didn’t see anyone post from UCF yet.

If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of experience does your daughter have? How many years singing, dancing, acting??

Many thanks!

Hi,
She has attended a high school that has a theater conservatory. 4 years of singing and acting, little dance. My experience with the 12 auditions was that 90% of the schools did not make their criteria for acceptance about dance. You only had to show potential that you can be taught. My D got acceptance in an email. Hope this helps you some. I know the waiting and wishing is killer.

sharkgirl2759…congrats to your daughter!! I have been recently admitted into the incoming musical theatre class as well!!!

Congrats Sashi45,

If you have any questions about the school or program feel free to ask me! look forward to seeing you here next year!
