This reminds me of the question from an interviewer who asked, if you were a dessert, what would you be? After giving the question careful consideration, the girl began to panic and said, "what would you like me to be?" How can anyone answer that for you unless you're pandering?

The best answer to your question is to be yourself and not worry so much about what Johns Hopkins is "looking for" or how much weight is given one aspect of an application over another. My advice would be work to create an application that truly shows who YOU are. If it is as holistic a process as they say, they consider all of it and ignore none of it.

Yah. I'm guessing at this point you've applied already so you might as well wait. It sucks, I know.

As far as chancing goes, and I am in no way qualified to do this, the only thing I have to remark on is the test score and GPA--they could hurt you. EC's look pretty average to me.

Your main concern should be your low SAT I CR score of 530. This suggests that you may experience difficulty keeping up with the demanding pace of the academics. A 530 CR score also suggests that you may understand the material covered at a different level than most of the other students. An 1160/1600 SAT I hints that, even if accepted, JHU may not be the best choice for you.

Three kids from my school this year got into JHU ED. One had a GPA similar to yours, but had a 23-something on his SATs to balance it. The other two were sports recruits, one of which had similar if not lower SAts than you and I'm not sure about his GPA. The latter student is worried about keeping up with the JHU curriculum. In all honesty, going to a reputable school is not as rewarding as going to a school that is a better fit. But who knows you might get in and love it! My best advice is keep your hopes high and expectations low.
BTW I'm from MD too.. Baltimore County. What County are you in?

Rather than starting a "chances" thread, you can search the stats profiles (click the stats profiles link on the left) and see what kinds of stats got accepted and rejected last year. There's really a lot of great information on this site!

so should i have not send those scores to johns hopkins?
i have met the recommendations: 3 SAT subject tests yes?
should i have only send the bio test?
