<p>We are from Maricopa and my son is a sophmore attending Muir College. He has his car with him now, but when he was a freshman he came home on Amtrak. STAY AWAY FROM GREYHOUND!!! The first time he come home was on the greyhound and it was a nightmare. But Amtrak only costs around 55 dollars round trip. Alot cheaper than gas to drive there. But you get on the amtrak bus in Bakersfield and when you get to LA you get on the train. The train will take you to Solano Beach. Which is, what he says, is like a 10 minute drive to the campus. His brother is handicapped and goes up there by hisself with no problem to visit!! It is so much more reliable than greyhound!!</p>

greyhound has sketchy characters.</p>
<p>grey hound is kind of expensive for driving. i think you're better off flying. </p>
