Who's going to them?

I'll probably check out SD, I and maybe SB. If I get into LA, I will make it happen, though.

Quick question... Do you have to SIR to go to the admit days?

No, admit days are really for perspective students so you do not have to send in your SIR.

It isn't manditory, correct? There are like 2 other manditory ones in June, i believe?

Which ever university you choose, it is mandatory to go to orientation.

what about admit day, that's different from orientation, correct?

I don't think there is any mandatory admit days.

It depends on what school. Cal has CalSo which for the most part is mandatory. There are ways of getting out of it but I do NOT recommend it because at the end of the day you get your access code to register for classes and you register right there. If you wait you may not get the classes you want that first semester. Plus it gives you a chance to get your student ID, speak with your major advisor, speak w/ the F/A department, obtain your RSF membership and learn where things are on the campus. I think UCLA has something similar for orientation.
