I applied for Chem major and i hope this Pre-Chem status doesnt mean im in a remedial program?

Nope you are not, everyone is in the pre-chem major until they fulfill all of the pre-reqs, then they are declared chemistry, same goes for pre-bio majors

Sorry for the thread hijack but I kinda have a similar question. If I got into pre-econ, would it be possible to declare econ & accounting later and would it be easy to do so?

First of all, no need to apoligize, we’re all CC family.

Are you saying you want to double major?

Yes you can, reason being is because even econ and accounting majors are in the exact same spot as you. All you have to do is look at the major sheet to see which classes you need to take.

If you’re already in the pre-econ major, then you’re open to all of the other econ majors.

I applied for biochemistry but on my acceptance page it said I was accepted under pre-chemistry. Will I be declared as a biochem after I finish the pre reqs?
