Admitted/Enrolled CU Boulder Class of 2024

Thought I’d start a thread aimed solely at Class of '24 parents/students who have been accepted to Boulder and have (or shortly will be) enrolling for this fall. A few other threads include those fortunate enough, like my son (EA, OOS, MN - Psych program, Arts & Sciences) who have been accepted, as well as those who haven’t yet heard, and several in both camps who may not commit.

So for us, our questions/comments are now focused on “what’s next” stuff (housing, class registration, etc.).

Speaking of, today is 4/3, and my son submitted his housing deposit and preferred housing list in Phase One. Has anyone else in Phase one heard back yet? Granted, it’s only 9:15 am MDT as I type this, but nothing here yet. He’s checked his regular email, CU email, Buff Portal (0 Holds, 0 To-Do’s)… not even anything in his inbox on the Housing (StarRez) site.

Ditto the above question re. class registration. Thought I saw somewhere that CU was going to open up registration beginning 3/30. They also said we’d be hearing from them re. our particular student’s registration window, but again, nothing yet. While I never expected '24 class registration to begin right away, I wondered if - starting 3/30 - they might at least begin letting us know when our particular window might be… anyone? Beuller?

I’ve been accepted to LEEDS OOS (NY) and I am enrolled!
I haven’t heard back about housing yet, and I also applied in phase one.

Congrats! My son heard by email yesterday at 5:45. He’s in Arnett and will be joining the Global Studies RAP there.

you won’t hear about registration until May, or perhaps June. Then you will be instructed to do an online orientation and take placement tests. Once that happens you will schedule an appointment with your advisor to talk about classes, from there you will be assigned a a registration window and you will register for classes - that happens in July and August. Hope that helps. One son is a junior and another an incoming freshman

eastbayrent - Thank you! Very helpful!
