(Obviously people going to pitt are going to say I should go, but why? (felt a bit pompous having "Why should I go?" as the title, so I changed it))

I've gotten into Pitt, and I have also been sent a letter from Ohio State hinting that I was accepted. I am very excited about both schools, and honestly, if I don't get into one of my top 3 choices, I don't know how to decide between the two (No offense to you guys, I think its a great school, otherwise I wouldn't have applied.) I think I'm leaning a bit towards Pitt, but I could easily swing back. Why should I go here?

I've applied to big schools in major cities, with good political science programs, that are something of a 'party-academic school.' so yeah.

PS: Can I start hating West Virginia and Penn State yet, or do I have to wait till I'm enrolled?

congrats on your admission. pitt and ohio state are both very good schools. is tuition a concern? are you a PA or OH resident? and i think OSU has a bigger party scene than pitt, but pitt has carson street.

good luck with your decision. i wish i got into pitt.

No reason to decide now. Mull it over for a few months, visit each school again (perhaps the admitted student visits) and then decide. It’s not about what school is best, it’s about what school is best for you.
