You’re welcome! And no… I’m not sure when it ends. Maybe a few hours? And yeah it’s at BU.

The bus back to LI and the city leaves at 4, so I’m assuming the program ends around then.

what makes you think that April 10th is Multi-cultural day?

do you know what the multi-cultural day involves? Is the day for genreal students as well

My daughter was accepted, but we never received any invitation to an accepted students day. I called Admissions yesterday. First, I was told that the admitted students events are only for students who have paid a deposit. Next they told me that the 18th is full. I was very disappointed. They said that we could come for a regular vist. We’ve already done that, and we were looking for a deeper dive. One has to wonder about this. If they treat you this way before you get there, how will it be after you arrive? Don’t they realize that students admitted to Binghamton have other offers and they are looking to compare each school prior to making their final decision? The Admissions office has really soured us on Binghamton. If there are Admissions Reps reviewing this thread, I would welcome a response to my concerns.

I am so sorry, ProudMom66. I actually am an international student who got accepted and did NOT pay deposit before I went to the accepted students day. When I called the admissions office and asked about the invitation, they said that I could come if I wanted to. I went to the admitted students day on the 10th without an invitation. When my mom and I went to check-in, I just told the lady at the desk that I called the admissions office and they said that it was okay for me and my mom to come in. Then, she gave me all the materials (papers with info) and told me to enjoy it. I don’t know… Maybe you should call them again and explain your situation?

Yea, this is total bull. Same thing happened to me. I’m going to go and just say “I don’t know why I’m not on the list, I just called Admissions yesterday to confirm”.
