Curious about BCs Admitted Student Days. Anybody have experience or know any specific info about those days? Seems odd that they are on a sunday. Not a very realistic view of what the campus is really like on a normal school day. Thanks for any help.

well I am going to the one on the 15th and just a fyi, if you plan on going, it is the day before the boston marathon, so every single hotel is booked. probably going to have to stay a little outside boston.

what happens on admitted student day?

on the website and stuff it says... its like info. sessions and meeting teachers and faculty, touring the campus and dorms, looking @ classes... I think it is a lot more in depth than a regular info session and tour. I'm excited to go!!

Doub if you'll be sitting in on classes, scott. Both of these days at BC are on Sundays.

I got waitlisted can I still attend?

i think it says that these days are specifically for admitted students because of a cap on the # of students participating each day.

is there a website for this, I can't find it on bc.edu

If you are going on the Sunday, see if you can meet up with a student to stay overnight and attend classes with a student on Monday. Although the admissions office doesn't officially set up overnight visits--only day visits--if you know anyone at BC, or know anyone who knows anyone, I'm sure students would be more than willing to host someone. Sunday nights are basically just homework nights, but it gives the prospective student a chance to see the dorms, what the student body is like, eat in the dining hall, etc.

keep in mind... Marathon Monday (4/16), BC has no classes. So you could try for the Friday before or the Tuesday after, if you have that much time. Or, if you come to the admitted eagle day on the 22nd, you could try to attend classes Monday the 23rd.
