Eagle Day Attendents

I read the website and read the outline of the Eagle Day Program. I just had a few questions for those that already went. Were you able to take tours of both Newton and Upper Campus? I am still undecided on whether to choose Newton or Upper, so Im hoping a tour of each will help me choose.
Also, who else is going to the Eagle Day on the 22nd ?

I'm probably going the 22nd, but I'm going to help me decide if I should go there at all. That'll be the first chance I get to visit, and I'm on the fence about it.

We attended the Sat. Eagle day, it was a well spent day,
especially the sessions on the different majors/areas of study.
Although the Newton campus was not part of any tour, one
can drive around for a look-see & any student will give you
their opinion of the "best" campus. There are students posted
all over the campus so informal talks are available.

Thanks for the help

my friend and i want to go to the eagle day on the 23rd, but we didn't know the rsvp was by april 5th. do you think they'll still let us go if we call and beg??? is eagle day really useful or is just a campus tour enough???

Yea, don't worry about the registering so much. it's basically for estimating like how much food they will need (but i'm sure they prep for more than the expected number of people) and put your name on a program thingy (but they can give you one without your name).

I don't think the registering is that big of a deal at all ... unless tons and tons of people did not register. THEN, that would be a problem, but you should be fine.

they dont take you to newton, the morning sessions were good, you got to pick 3 different majors to look at, where 1 or 2 professors told you about them for 45 minutes

i didnt go to the afternoon sessions cause they sounded realy lame; social life at bc ect, instead i took a room tour which was also bennifical

thanks everyone for your replies! :D

How do I rsvp? I searched the BC website forever and I can't find it. I am also hoping they aren't hard and fast about that april 5th policy. If anyone could link me I'd really appreciate it.

Who is going to BC this Saturday for the Eagle Day?

I am :)

Have fun! =)

I'm going tomorrow, the 23rd! For those who have already gone: Was the parking / searching easy for the most part?

Ya it is pretty easy. I went today (the 22nd) and everything went smooth. I learned alot, got tours of the campus and the dorms, and was able to talk to some professors who gave the information sessions. By the end of the day, I knew I was going to BC.

Congrats to all the new Eagles!! D has been spending her junior year abroad in one of the great programs that BC sponsors. She has really enjoyed it, but can't wait to get back to the BC campus for her senior year!!!! She has already ordered her season football tickets!! Good luck to all of you!

What a sucky day to be at Eagle Day with the weather and all ...

Haha yeah... I was there today and at one point it was pouring! But the Eagle Day went well nonetheless. :)
