It seems like the only thing you register for is the overnight. Is that right?
So for the weekday visit events and classes on the class lists, do you just show up without registering? Since my son registered for an overnight on April 24, he’d plan to attend a mix of events and classes on the 24th and 25th. Is there a time/place to register for the events during the day when you arrive?
Anyone have other advice about getting the most out of the visit? (My son is admitted for SCS, and is choosing between CMU and another school where he would probably major in physics or double-major physics and CS.)
We are in California, and his only other visit to CMU was in 10th grade. He did get a detailed tour of some fun projects at SCS and CIT at that time. He does not have a good picture of what CMU is like from a social perspective, however.
