i did i already. and it says "invalid pin" but.. my last name is pretty common. so i wouldnt be surprised if someone got in EA with my last name. btw. i think the OP is a troll... only 3 posts.. and his first is that?..

that's what i thought but then i was like, eh, even if he is, i've got nothing better to do.

sempitern- user not found :D

ha ha, sucharita

as my scholarship rec said today

"I can either mix up a group of people or bring them together"- paraphrased, don't remember exact wording

I think this is evident with my very early posts on the princeton boards(which I retract) and the upenn board(which I sort of retract)

my posts on the washu board I dont think I'll ever retract

I love causing a stir

heck, when I started young democrats in my town the local newspaper called us "thugs" "without morals" in my town where on every corner stands a church I was viewed as the incarnation of the devil. In this regard, my acceptance to duke today and the possibility of being a "blue"(democratic) "devil"(in the eyes of social conservatives) has caused me great excitement

oddly enough tufts syndrome did not afflict my admissions decision(I got accepted) rather I think it should be called the WAshu syndrome

quite the rabble rouser arent you? :p

yes, I am and I LOVE it. I love being controversial and out there

heck I even quoted Barry Goldwater "extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice" during my interviews(Barry Goldwater was this really conservative presidential candidate who lost by a huge margin in the 1964)

I find it hard to believe that no one with the last name "brown" was admitted to harvard. plus the smith could be an EA student.

true, but Irock1ce who is an rd applicant got the FA info and the invalid pin message, so I think a combination of these two means an admission

well we'll know soon enough won't we?

this discussion is kind of unproductive :p

so is posting on cc, it only makes me more anxious

yeah it does...

but I still can't stop...

its official- I'm an addict :(

Just wondering, what is meant by, "i think the OP is a troll... only 3 posts.. and his first is that?..." ?

If they had updated the admitted students website, why would people still be getting invalid pin msgs? It doesnt make sense.

calipharius- I think people are referring to the fact that the OP is gloating over the fact that she got a more desirable error message than the rest of us and signed up in order to gloat a little more.

NOTE- OP this is not my personal opinion. I am just trying to figure out why people think youre a troll.

"why would people still be getting invalid pin msgs? It doesnt make sense."

because the pins are sent in the decision letters

Oh no, is this seriously happening again?

yes.... it is and I know I've been rejected

You'd think Harvard would've fixed something like that. I'm trying to check mine right now. I wonder what evenstar's stats were. There's still hope!! Maybe it was a freak coincidence and there are two of the same last names.

BTW, Sempitern, I agree with you that Tufts Syndrome should be renamed to WashU Syndrome.

Ok, I clicked on the Admitted Students site and it wound up loading forever so I just closed the window. Maybe that's a sign I shouldn't be checking it now. I guess I can wait 12 hours and 45 more minutes. I just realized yesterday that my parents have been waiting for over 10 years for that e-mail that's going to arrive tomorrow. Kind of a terrifying thought.

ohhh I hate this...so I'm rejected...not a pleasant way to find out :(
