Im trying to go to the first CalSo so I can stand a chance of getting some classes I actually want. We shall see though. I might live in Spens Black but I really dont like the coed bathrooms.

Hey guys! How is everyone? I still can't get my Calnet to work. I know we're supposed to wait a few days but I'm getting sooooo antsy. I'm dying to see my financial aid awards.

I am going to CalSo, probably on June 23rd.

Will try to get a room in Unit 3.

And to the women: Don't let the machismos scare you away from the co-ed bathroom arrangement. They won't be showering with you (unless you make special arrangements) or urinating in front of you. Believe me, the last thing a guy wants is to be checked out right after he emerges from the shower into the chilly morning air.

i'm probably going to the first calso...june 9th, so i can hopefully get the classes i want.
And i think i'm leaning towards Spens-Black / Unit 3...but i'll have to go check it out and see how it is.

Whats co-ed bathroom? i don't really get it...
is there single-sex bathrooms in Spens-Black / Unit 3? (is that a word? lol)

why would they prevent us from seeing the FA? I mean, money is often a big factor in deciding to go or not go to a particular college? Why should I submit an SIR when I don't even know if I can afford it?

Also, wouldn't the award amount be the same as the amount from another UC? UCLA and Berk cost virtually the same, so wouldn't my money be the same if the information they are calculating it on is the same?

No, the award amounts can differ. If UCLA would stop lagging or UCB allow me to create my calnet id i could prove it by comparing my UCI award with theirs. But having gotten different awards at two different Cal states, I know mileage will vary.
