<p>I checked my SOLAR login for Stony Brook today, and I found something interesting. Under Admission Status it says "Your Application is Complete. The admissions committee will be making a decision shortly." However now there are 2 new buttons, both which say "For New Students", and which offer me a chance to put a deposit down. Am I accepted?</p>

<p>It updated for me yesterday. I applied (according to solar) on 9/26/08. Major is Arts & Sciences</p>

<p>Is this ED? If not you DO NOT need to put a deposit down until may 31st. You have a legal right to this. THey cannot rescind your acceptance until then. ED however is more restrictive...</p>

<p>Yea I got my acceptance, and I put my deposit down already. Just waiting to hear if I get housing to know if I can go, but that won't be until January.</p>
