Admitted University of Michigan Transfer Students!

Hey everyone! I just got my admission notification from U of M and I am absolutely ecstatic.

I just had a few questions for you guys who were admitted earlier and have had time to go through some of the process.

After accepting admission to the University and paying the $200 Enrollment Deposit, what did you guys do? I didn't get any sort of acceptance email - it was only on Wolverine Access - so I don't know quite what to do next.

It said that an official letter would be coming to my house soon. Since I live in Ann Arbor, I'm guessing it shouldn't take long to get here. Did you guys get official letters and if so, how long did it take for them to arrive?

Is there any sort of action I can take beyond paying the enrollment and accepting admission? I've done that but now I'm sort of at a standstill.

Any advice or experiences would be welcome. God, it feels GREAT to be a Wolverine, doesn't it?!

:D

How did you find out that you were accepted?

I checked my Wolverine Access - next to the View Application Data and View Credentials links, there was a View Decision link - and it took me to a page with my admissions decision, a congratulatory text, and a “Respond Now” button.

A few hours later, I got an email from UM Admissions telling me I was admitted.

Theoretically, you’re supposed to get the email first - but it doesn’t always work that way.

What semester did you apply for? When did you turn in your app?

@iloveumich-
which college did you apply for? i’m nursing, and i still have not heard

I applied on 26 January to LS&A. I think as of right now, LS&A and Engineering are the only schools that have been consistently sending out decisions. I haven’t heard of anyone getting any sort of response from Nursing, Architecture, etc. - some of the smaller schools/schools that don’t receive a crazy-huge number of applicants like LS&A.

You should try calling Admissions and asking if the timeline for Nursing decisions is the same as for LS&A! Good luck.

I was admitted last week to University of Michigan Ann Arbor LSA as transfer as well. I still havent gotten my official letter. But I think I will be getting soon. I am a out of state student btw. I think we should keep in touch, iloveumich. I applied for economics.

Hey, for those of you transfers who have heard from housing, where are you living? I’m an accepted LSA transfer and I’ll be living in Oxford in the fall.
Congrats to you guys by the way! Go blue! :)

congrats to you too Jgrden…I am an international student…I will be leaving in campus ( havent accepted the offer yet…but going to) =) Go blue!
