So decision date is coming up, and I'm seriously stressing out after getting waitlisted from a bunch of places, because I registered for an interview, but I never contacted the interview officer because my friend told me that interviews were being held in a different city that is a couple hours away from me, so I never bothered. But then another one of my friend got an interview in city that I live in... will this be indicated as lack of interest in NU? I don't want them to think that I'm using it as a backup, because I swear I'm not that egotistical...

And yes, I realize that there is nothing that I can do about it now, I just need some input for my nerves

Most kids don’t interview and it really has no impact on your admission, you’re fine. NU is really not a “interest shown” kind of school.

Whatever will be, will be!

RELAX! You don’t need to interview at NU. I have HAD one kid admitted ED, and one RD, and neither interviewed.

Really… I contacted the alum in question and she said she was preoccupied and never gave me an interview. So never mind an informational interview is an informational one.
