<p>My daughter ordered something from this website last year and I still get their weekly email alerts. This one caught my eye because the subject line was “Hot in Houndstooth.”</p>

<p>Moms and daughters there are a pair of red gloves with a black and white houndstooth border and bow that are adorable. A great stocking stuffer!</p>

<p>I bought a black and white houndstooth scarf for my D from our area Target. Sent it to my D so she can wear it to the game this weekend. It was only $10.</p>

<p>Talbots has a beautiful houndstooth jacket and blouse in their newest catalog. </p>

<p>I saw little girl winter coats in B&W houndstooth at our Wal-Mart! I think that houndstooth is popular this year. I personally have always loved that pattern. RTR!!</p>

<p>My local Target didn’t have any houndstooth scarves and I couldn’t find them at Target.com so I ordered a cashmere scarf from Amazon for $14.99. Not $10 but not a bad price for cashmere either. </p>

<p>I really want the cute red/houndstooth gloves on the Unique Vintage website but my son thinks I’ve lost my mind. He has to remind me that he’s going to Bama, not me! :)</p>

<p>Oh, you have a boy. How funny! Buy the houndstooth things anyway. They are so cute and fashionable. Is he an incoming frosh?</p>

<p>Yes, he will be a freshman Fall 2012. I’m so excited that he has been accepted to his number one choice and that he can enjoy his senior year of high school. Many of his friends are just sending in their applications this week and won’t find out if they’re accepted until April. </p>

<p>Since we live in Illinois I plan on visiting him as often as possible. Mostly to get out of the cold :slight_smile: . It’s only right that I wear houndstooth when I visit, that’s why I ordered the scarf.</p>

<p>When my D decided on Bama we bought a flag to hang outside. It’s been there ever since and we live in the land of the Gators!</p>

<p>We also got BAMA license plates for the front of our cars and the magnetic emblem. I stopped myself from buying the sticker that shows the Bama fish eating the Gator fish. </p>

<p>Although we might all like to think the Houndstooth craze this year stems from UA…it appears it started on the runway Fall 2010 and then Lady Gaga made it a craze this past August…</p>

<p>Lady Gaga must really love the sophisticated black-and-white printed look she spotted on the Salvatore Ferragmo Fall 2010 runway, because the singer wore it from head to toe when she appeared as a guest host on The View Monday.</p>
