Advance for applying for med school

I just finished my sophomore year with a GPA of 3.5 and a science GPA of 3.2. I just got out of my organic class (my first time) with a C+. I am a double major of biology and psychology. My question is if I should retake my organic class again and remove my double major or continue with ORganic II?

My plans is to apply to FSU med school, but my first choice is to apply UVM. I am also planning to participate in a Emergency Unit responder at my univesity. Is this going to look good for my profile for med school?

Also I planned to begin studying for the MCAT, i wanted to buy the KAPLAN review, is it good?

Thank You

Since your school probably will not remove your previous grade from your transcript -- whether they remove it from your GPA or not is irrelevant -- then it's a lose-lose situation when you retake it. Either "Of course she got an A, it's her second time through the course,", or "She couldn't even get an A on her second time through the course?"

I liked Kaplan, but the course itself was very important for my own studying.

Obviously you will have to apply to more than two medical schools when the time comes.
