Hi. The CollegeBoard website states that the International Diploma is available for US students wishing to apply to non-US countries that recognise AP. I am from a foreign country, so that probably meant that I am not eligible.. Further into the matter, my own country does not recognise the AP qualification and is not listed in CollegeBoard's recognized nations.
However, it is possible for me to take the tests. So, can I receive the International Diploma if I am to apply to another foreign country that recognized AP as listed on CollegeBoard?

Please read more carefully “The APID is available to students attending secondary schools outside the United States and to U.S. resident students applying to universities outside the country.”

You are eligible.

Whether or not you get the APID is NOT dependent on what college you are applying to. That would not be a very smart idea.

What country are you from?
