Does anybody have any background on the grading distribution/ format of advanced statistics courses such as STAT W4105, W4107 and W4109?

I’m in 4150 right now, which I think is supposed to be a less intense version of 4109. Its not too bad. In my class there are 14 homeworks, the professor drops the 4 lowest scores. The homework is worth 30%, midterm 30%, final 40%. The homework isn’t very difficult, and compared to my friend who i think is in 4105, I have much less. The midterm was kinda hard, and I don’t think anyone finished. A lot of people in my class don’t go to the lectures because our professor isn’t very good at lecturing. The textbook is pretty good though. Our professor said at the beginning of the semester that every single time she’s taught this course at least half the class gets an A.

I know people who’ve taken 4105 and 4109. Neither really cared for probability or statistics, and I don’t particularly care for it either.

Hope that helps.
