Is being probably the only international student from Spain applying for an Ivy League College with the purpose of studying physics an advantage for getting in? I know ive to do well on SAT, SATII's, AP's and all that stuff, but does representing a minority really matters?

you would not be considered a minority

really? so are there a lot of spanish students studying at Dartmouth?

That's not the point. Europeans in general, are not generally viewed as 'under-represented'. Even as an International student, you are basically compared to other international students regardless of your country of origin. There were as many Japanese applications this year as there were Korean ones. But yet, there's only probably 1 Japanese student in the Class of 2011 and a whole bunch of Korean people. Give even the consideration that Koreans are 'over-represented' at Dartmouth, but that doesn't matter for Internationals.

ok thanks man
