Advertising a good idea? @UCB

<p>I am completely lost at finding a career pathway....</p>

<p>Lately ive been drawn to advertising because i am artistic and love the idea of expressing your creativity and using persuasion and statistics to convince people. (P.S. I'm horrible at math)</p>

<p>I know this is just because I am very uniformed, but I feel like advertising has to do with alot of corruption, are there jobs in the field that while giving good pay can be used to help the community?</p>

<p>I recently got admitted to UC Berkeley under Peace and Conflict Resolutions O.o (but will change) and I really want to go, but don't want to spend so much money there if I don't even know my major yet -_-..</p>

<p>And help would be greatly appreciated...</p>

<p>Don’t stress about your major most of your first 2 years are GE’s anyways. Any good adsman will have taken social psych and be good are ‘corruption’ or influence as they will call it. Just remember you don’t have to use your powers for evil.</p>
