Hello:

I'm sure Howard only accepts exceptional people to their medical program. I'm wondering what are some specific qualities that Howard looks for in a white person that grants them admission into the program? I'm white and from Utah and I think it would be fun to go to Howard Medical School.

The same requirements there are to get into any medical school. A good gpa, a good mcat score, and decent ec’s like an internship at a hospital. IDK if you think because Howard is an hbcu that it will be ‘fun’, it’s medical school. It will be very hard work.

Ha Ha, yes I realize med school is hard work. By fun I mean that it will be completely opposite from my current 99% caucasian surroundings and I want to get out of the bubble I live in and have a unique medical school experience. Plus I have never been to the East Coast which would be interesting for me. I thought maybe it would take an exceptional white person to get in… if so i wondered how I matched up. but if everyone is brought in equally I wonder how many white people apply verses how many are matriculated. My MSAR didn’t mention this statistic.

It is all equal for everyone
