Advice for a Sophomore Who Wants to Score 700+ On Each Section of The SAT??
Right now I bought Up Your Score, and Kaplan PSAT Study Book. What else should I study to get these scores? I mean I want to score really high, and I am deeply motivated.

how about wait until your a junior until you think about the SAT....i was able to score well above 700+ on each section (2270) by waiting until october of junior year to start...dont worry yourself and have a fun sophmore year, go to parties, try out new things...if you know where im going with this

you got more than enough time to worry about collegeboard and its craziness...take a few APs and enjoy yourself before junior year (the year of hell)

Have you taken the SAT before? I took it in June as a sophomore to get a ballpark and surprised myself by scoring a 2130 without prep. Now I'm using the summer to study really hard and hopefully get a 2300+ in November and be done with standardized tests so I can focus on my grades. Make sure you buy the blue book - the Official Guide or whatever - to study.

No, I never took it before. I go to parties all the time, but I have time to study this summer after I play tennis all day lol. An I can do it on the way to my flight to California.

I definitly would not worry yourself over this test yet man...it truly is not worth your troubles...if you want to start learning some vocab but i definitly would not suggest taking tests and whatnot already....wait till beginning of junior year for that IMO
