for people who got either a 4 or a 5 on both or one of the exams....did you read over the AMSCO and Cliffs two times like a week before the test? is that effective? What about for the free response questions.... just by reading the amsco you gained enough information that you had no trouble with the free response?

I got a 4 on the AP USH by just reading the REA review book once the week before the test and doing like 6 practice multiple choice exams. I never bothered writing the essays or DBQs when I did the practice. Just reading will give you enough info that you will be able to do the written part of the exam.

here's the rest of my advice for AP USH: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=339858

i read through the summary part of the book and did all the practice multiple choice. the essay part of the apush is hella random so if studying this late wont help you too much on that. if you kept up in your readings throughout the year you should be fine.
